Vijay’s upcoming film, Jana Nayagan, is positioned to be one of India’s largest cinematic releases, with a planned rollout across approximately 7,000 to 8,000 screens worldwide. The film is already seeing significant momentum in international markets, including the United Kingdom, where thousands of tickets were sold within the first hour of advance bookings. In the UK, audiences will reportedly have access to an uncut version of the film.

In Canada, early booking access is being offered to VIP members. Meanwhile, domestic demand is already visible in Karnataka, where 6 AM first-day screenings in Bengaluru sold out in minutes. The high demand has reportedly led some fans to travel to nearby towns to ensure they catch the earliest possible screenings.
Booking Timelines and Regional Availability
While advance bookings are currently active in Bengaluru, ticket sales in Tamil Nadu are expected to commence on July 19. In Tamil Nadu, initial showtimes are anticipated to begin around 9 AM.
CBFC Certification and Title Changes
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted the film an ‘A’ certificate following the implementation of 12 cuts. These edits addressed sensitive scenes and various political references to secure approval.
Additionally, the film’s title slate has reportedly been updated. The lead actor is now credited as “The Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu C. Joseph Vijay.”
