The makers of Soori’s upcoming film Mandaadi have released the lyrical video of Usure Needhan Pulla. The romantic song features Soori and Mahima Nambiar.
Composed by GV Prakash Kumar, the song is sung by Kapil Kapilan and Sanjana Kalmanje, with lyrics by Jayashree Mathimaran.
Mandaadi is a sea-based action drama set against the backdrop of a traditional sailing boat race held along a 100-kilometre stretch of the Tamil Nadu coastline. The title refers to the leader of a fishing expedition team.
The film also stars Suhas, Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, Sachana Namidass and Ravindra Vijay. Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment is producing the film.
Mandaadi is scheduled to release in theatres on September 10. Soori, who made his lead-actor debut with Viduthalai, was last seen in Maaman. He will next appear in Ram’s Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, which is slated for release on October 1.
