Vishwanath and Sons

A bond built on admiration and respect

According to Venky, Mamitha Baiju’s character admires Suriya’s character and considers him someone she can look up to. However, he stressed that her admiration does not develop into an obsession.

The director also made it clear that the relationship is not intended to be presented as a conventional romantic pairing. The emotional connection between the characters is primarily shaped by respect and admiration.

Suriya’s character remains responsible

Venky further explained that Suriya’s character maintains a responsible approach throughout the story. He does not cross boundaries or treat Mamitha Baiju’s character disrespectfully at any point in the narrative.

With the film choosing to explore this relationship without turning the age difference into a source of inappropriate humour or drama, the dynamic becomes an important aspect of the characters’ journey.
