Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is set to entertain audiences with the emotional family thriller Irumudi, directed by Shiva Nirvana. Priya Bhavani Shankar and Baby Nakshatra play important roles in the film.
The makers unveiled the theatrical trailer today, offering a glimpse into Ravi Teja’s character Trinadh, a man who is deeply attached to his daughter. He pampers her and celebrates even the smallest moments with her. For his daughter, Trinadh takes up Ayyappa Deeksha every year for 41 days, during which he stays away from alcohol.
A Mysterious Village Incident
Trinadh’s peaceful family life takes a turn when a series of mysterious deaths involving schoolgirls occurs in his village. Determined to protect the girls, he takes on those responsible and fights against the people behind the crimes.
However, the villains cleverly plan an abduction when Trinadh begins his Deeksha, knowing that he will not be able to fight during those 41 days. This forms the central conflict of the thriller.
Ravi Teja in a Different Role
The trailer presents Irumudi as a mix of family emotion, thriller elements and devotional themes. The father-daughter bond between Ravi Teja and Baby Nakshatra stands out, while the story gives Ravi Teja a character that is different from his recent commercial outings.
