The production of the much-anticipated Tamil film Con City, starring Arjun Das and Anna Ben, has officially shifted gears. Following the announcement that principal photography concluded earlier this month, the makers have confirmed that the film has now entered the dubbing stage, marking a significant milestone in its post-production journey.

A Swift Transition to Post-Production
The film, described as a quirky comedy family entertainer, officially wrapped up its shooting schedule on May 13, 2026. Shortly after, the production team at Power House Pictures took to social media to share the update that the cast has begun the dubbing process. This rapid progression suggests the team is aiming to keep the momentum high as they move closer to the final stages of completion before hitting the big screens.
Plot and Premise
Directed by debutant Harish Durairaj, Con City has generated significant curiosity among moviegoers due to its unusual and lighthearted premise. The story revolves around a struggling family whose life takes an unexpected, comedic turn following a bizarre incident. Arjun Das’s character discovers that a receipt printer in his possession has begun dispensing real 500-rupee notes after a freak lightning accident causes a technical glitch.
What starts as a life-changing windfall for the family soon spirals into a chaotic series of events as they attempt to manage their sudden wealth while navigating the complications of living in a busy urban environment. The title teaser, which gained traction online earlier this year, highlighted the film’s blend of humor and intense emotional stakes.
The Ensemble and Creative Team
Beyond the lead pair of Arjun Das and Anna Ben, Con City boasts an extensive ensemble cast. Veteran actors Yogi Babu and Vadivukkarasi play pivotal roles, adding weight and humor to the narrative. The supporting cast is equally expansive, featuring names like Thambi Ramaiah, Ramesh Thilak, Imman Annachi, Bharadwaj Rangan, Ponvannan, and Arul Doss, among others.
On the technical front, the film features music composed by Sean Roldan, who has already released catchy singles like “Korean Family” and “Naan Dhaan King” to build anticipation. The cinematography is handled by Aravind Viswanathan, with editing duties managed by Arul Moses A. The film is produced by Power House Pictures in association with Maali & Manvi Movie Makers, Silver Tree Studios and Klout Studios.
While a theatrical release date has yet to be finalized, the move into the dubbing phase indicates that Con City is steadily advancing toward its premiere.
