The production house, Power House Pictures, took to social media to share the exciting update with fans. Directed by debutant filmmaker Harish Durairaj, the film promises to be a unique entertainer that blends humor with the emotional struggles of a middle-class family living in the city.
The story follows a struggling family whose life takes a dramatic and hilarious turn after a mysterious accident caused by a lightning strike. The protagonist, played by Arjun Das, discovers that a receipt printing machine in his possession has gained a glitch that allows it to print genuine Rs 500 notes. As the family, including Anna Ben, Yogi Babu, and Vadivukkarasi, realizes the potential of this “money-making machine,” they find themselves in the middle of unexpected chaos and dangerous consequences.
A stellar ensemble and technical crew
Beyond the lead pair, Con City boasts an impressive supporting cast, including veteran actors such as Vadivukkarasi, Radha Ravi, Thambi Ramaiah, and popular comedian Yogi Babu.
