In a massive reveal dropped across their official social media handles, the makers unveiled a striking character announcement welcoming the actress on board. Promoted as the film’s crucial “IMPACT PLAYER,” Ramya Krishnan is locked to play a powerhouse character named Raja Rajeshwari.
Known globally for her iconic, commanding performances—ranging from Padayappa’s Neelambari to Baahubali’s Sivagami—her inclusion introduces a massive wave of theatrical gravity to the lighthearted sports-comedy landscape.
A Grand Family Reunion on the Big Screen
Directed by Chella Ayyavu, Gatta Kusthi 2 serves as the direct sequel to the 2022 blockbuster hit. The film brings back the beloved leading duo of Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi, alongside the entire original comedic supporting gang, including Karunaas, Munishkanth, and Kaali Venkat.
