The theatrical trailer of Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been released, giving audiences a closer look at Geetu Mohandas’ gangster action drama. The trailer arrives today, August 8, ahead of the film’s worldwide theatrical release on August 26.
Yash appears in dual roles
The trailer introduces Yash in two distinct characters, Raya and Rumi. Set against the backdrop of 1980s Goa, the promo showcases a violent underworld involving gunfights, explosions and hand-to-hand combat.
The film’s ensemble cast also gets glimpses in the trailer, with Kiara Advani playing Nadia, Nayanthara as Ganga, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, Tara Sutaria as Rebecca and Rukmini Vasanth as Melissa.
Geetu Mohandas directs Toxic
Toxic is directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The film has been shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in multiple Indian languages.
