Actor Pooja Hegde celebrated the release of Jana Nayagan by sharing two behind-the-scenes photographs featuring herself and Vijay on Instagram on Thursday. The images offer a glimpse of the pair’s on-screen bond as Kayal and Vetri in H. Vinoth’s film, which released in theatres the same day.
Along with the photos, Pooja wrote,
“Release day is here and for ONE LAST TIME, one last dance… your Halamithi and Habibo.. Kayal and Vetri.”

A tribute to their on-screen pairing
Pooja’s mention of “one last dance” reflects the significance of Jana Nayagan, which has been announced as Vijay’s final film as an actor. The post also revisits the pair’s successful collaboration in Beast by referencing “Halamithi and Habibo,” a line associated with the popular song Arabic Kuthu.
In Jana Nayagan, Pooja and Vijay play Kayal and Vetri, marking their second film together after Beast.
Stills revisit a viral moment from the sets
Before the film’s release, Pooja had shared a light-hearted video from the sets in which she playfully suggested that Vijay would become the Chief Minister in the film. The clip later gained widespread attention after her prediction coincided with the outcome of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections.
One of the newly shared behind-the-scenes images features the actors wearing the same costumes seen in that earlier video, bringing back memories of the viral moment.
