The makers of Dhanush’s upcoming film Om: Chapter 1 have announced the release date of the movie’s first single, sharing a new poster ahead of the actor’s birthday on July 28. The track will be the first song released from the project, which is composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
The new poster shows Dhanush in what appears to be a festive dance sequence, with a large crowd around him and a hill lit up in the background. The film is subtitled Udhiram: The Bloodwood and marks Dhanush’s first collaboration with director Rajkumar Periasamy.
Om: Chapter 1 is produced by Shraddha Agrawal, Dhanush and Azmat Jagmag under the Wunderbar Films and R Take Studios banners. The film also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Mammootty, Sreeleela, Sai Pallavi and Indrans, among others.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres on October 16, 2026. It will be Dhanush’s 55th film and one of his biggest upcoming releases this year.
