The makers of Pyaar Prema Kalyanam have unveiled a special character introduction video featuring leading lady Saanve Megghana. Released on YouTube ahead of the film’s OTT debut, the promo offers a closer look at her role and further introduces the film’s light-hearted take on modern relationships.
Saanve plays influencer Pavi
In the film, Saanve Megghana plays Pavi, a popular social media influencer who chooses to remain in her family home after marriage. The story follows an unconventional setup in which her husband, played by director-actor Elan, moves into her house instead. This role reversal becomes the foundation for a romantic comedy filled with family situations and humorous cultural clashes.
Elan’s acting debut
Pyaar Prema Kalyanam marks the acting debut of filmmaker Elan, who also directs the project. The cast also includes Radikaa Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, MS Bhaskar, Geetha Kailasam, Elango Kumaravel, Senthil and Maran in supporting roles, while Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music.
Streaming on Netflix from August 21
Netflix will premiere Pyaar Prema Kalyanam on August 21 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. With the teaser and now Saanve Megghana’s character introduction video giving audiences a better glimpse of the film, the makers are gradually building anticipation ahead of its digital release.
