Director Venky Atluri has provided an update on his upcoming web series featuring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead roles. The project marks his entry into the OTT space and is being produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments.
The series was previously reported to be heading for a Netflix premiere sometime in 2026. However, Venky Atluri has now clarified that the project will not be released this year.
Venky Atluri confirms early 2027 release
Speaking in a recent interview, Venky said the series is progressing well and is taking shape as planned. He also revealed that the makers are targeting an early 2027 release for the project.
This puts an end to the earlier speculation surrounding a 2026 premiere. While the exact release date has not been announced, the director has confirmed that the series will arrive in the first part of 2027.
Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Meenakshi Chaudhary lead the series
The upcoming series brings together Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Meenakshi Chaudhary, while Venky Atluri takes charge as director. The project is backed by producer Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner.
The series also marks Venky’s first major outing in the web-series space, expanding his work beyond theatrical cinema.

Venky Atluri is currently associated with Vishwanath & Sons, which features Suriya and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles and is scheduled to release on August 14. His upcoming OTT series with Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Meenakshi Chaudhary is now expected to premiere in early 2027.
